Skating 101
Every year Adrienne, our wonderful P.E. teacher, lets the kids do Skating 101. It is hard, but everyone tries their best. Nash is obviously the Rollerblading King! Thank you to the parents who come and volunteer to put all of the equipment on the kids. Teamwork!
History Fair Projects
History Fair projects were due on Tuesday, November 12. The students presented their boards to the class. We had 100% participation this year! Way to go, historians!
TCU Students
For several weeks this semester we had two TCU students observing our class and teaching lessons. They are Leigh (left) and Harmoni (right). This was their last day. We were so sad. There were a few tears. Thanks, Leigh and Harmoni, for teaching us!

Marathon Kids Kickoff
We had our Marathon Kids kickoff to help us get ready to run 26.2 miles over the course of the next couple of months. The children should be running weekly to meet this goal. At the end we will walk to the TCU track and run around it where we will get a medal to show we ran a marathon. Keep running!
Omni Theater
In third grade we get to go to the Omni Theater inside the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. Here are a couple of kids getting ready to see the movie Forces of Nature. We studied tornadoes, volcanoes, hurricanes, and earthquakes to prepare us for this wonderful field trip.
Inside Recess
Sometimes when it rains, we have to have inside recess. Amelia and Caya were very creative on this very wet day.
Flower Investigation
We did the Flower Investigation and dissected flowers. Rebekka, our student teacher from Switzerland, taught the lesson. Leigh and Harmoni, our TCU observers, helped with the process.
WOATS - Justin Anderson
Justin Anderson from WOATS came and talked to the whole third grade about economics. He started his own business when he was 16 years old! He used the analogy of the lemonade stand to teach how to have a business. He also brought free samples of WOATS for all of the children. We love Justin!!!
Math-o-ween
Every year we have Math-o-ween. Our class voted to do Super Size Trash Can math. We used chairs and Adrienne's super size dice. The kids dress up in math related costumes and come and play math games. Students volunteer to run the game while other classes come to play.
